Ultralight Plywood

Ultralight plywood is made from tropical species with low specific gravity. Ceiba is used as an inner layer, and ceiba veneer or other light tropical woods are used as outer layers. The weight of one cbm of ultra-light plywood varies from 340 to 380 kg. If you compare this with the specific gravity of birch plywood (700-750 kg/m3), you will notice that using tropical plywood helps reduce the final product's weight by half.
